Four days ago I said "YES" to marrying the love of my life.   I could not be happier.  I am so excited to love and honor this man for the rest of my life.  His proposal was something I'll remember forever. It was so sincere and from the heart.  Wes is the man I've prayed for, and God brought us together in such a magical way through this blog. There's no other explanation other than that this was a total "God thing."  No coincidences here.  Everything happens for a reason.  

Our wedding will be here in downtown Minneapolis at the Millennium Hotel on Friday evening, July 1st.  The space is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The ceremony and dance will take place in this really cool glass dome with a 360-degree view of downtown Minneapolis.  The wedding planning is in full force.  The venue is booked.  The dresses are ordered.  Decorations are accumulating.  And tomorrow we are going to the wedding fair downtown.  

Despite how fun the planning is, the best part about this engagement announcement has been the outpouring of love from family and friends.  I cannot wait to share the biggest day of our lives with them.  It was humbling to see Facebook light up with hundreds of notifications as we shared the news.
